East European University (EEU) welcomed a delegation from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Greece, on July 6 as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme, further strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two institutions.

The visiting delegation included senior representatives from Panteion University, including officials from the Library and Information Services, Museum and Historical Archives, Department of Communication, Media and Culture, and Financial Services. During their visit, the delegation met with EEU Rector Professor David Cherkezishvili and members of the University's leadership team.

The discussions focused on the Georgian higher education system, EEU's academic achievements, institutional growth, and internationalisation efforts. Both universities reaffirmed their commitment to expanding academic cooperation through future joint initiatives, research collaborations and international projects.

As part of the programme, the delegation toured EEU's academic and administrative facilities, Research Centre, Library and sports infrastructure. At the conclusion of the visit, participants received certificates recognizing their successful participation in the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme.

East European University and Panteion University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2023 and the partnership has continued to grow through Erasmus+ exchange opportunities for students, faculty, and administrative staff. The collaboration promotes international academic exchange, knowledge sharing, and professional development for both institutions.
