East European University received official authorization and program accreditation from Georgia’s Ministry of Education and Science, laying the foundation for a modern and internationally oriented university.

EEU officially began its academic activities in September 2013, launching bachelor’s and master’s degree programs and welcoming its first students as a teaching university.

Following successful reauthorization, EEU gained the right to offer doctoral programs and became a complete three-level university providing bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral education. By this time, eight programs had been accredited..

East European University (EEU) is a private, accredited higher education institution located in Tbilisi, Georgia. The university received official authorization from Georgia’s Ministry of Education in 2012 and has since developed into a multidisciplinary institution committed to international standards in teaching and research. EEU received doctoral degree-awarding authority in 2016 and established its medical school in 2017.
EEU offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral education through modern academic programmes designed around practical knowledge, critical thinking and current professional requirements. Its learning environment is supported by qualified Georgian and international professors, student-oriented teaching methods, research opportunities and modern academic infrastructure.
